Your mind is one of your greatest strengths in life and in wrestling. Below are a few tips on how to improve this aspect of your wrestling

Think about it:
Almost nothing happens exactly as a you plan it, but aiming high will help you get as close as possible to your goals and to be satisfied with your effort at the end of the season.

- If you think you can make Varsity or are a top JV wrestler --- why not make it to state?
- If you think you can make it state --- why not stand on the podium?
- If you think you can place at state --- why not be in the finals?
- Is this your first time at JV State --- why shouldn’t you stand on the podium?
Think about it:
- If you’re training just to wrestle, what does your training look like?
- How does your training change if you are training to ...
- place at state, or
- to be in the finals of the state tournament, or
- to place or win the JV State Tournament ?
